Fix a failed payment on RS9
A declined deposit is common and usually fixable. This page lists honest reasons — UPI limits, bank blocks, wrong VPA, network, state rules, incomplete KYC — and when to stop instead of retrying blindly. Never send OTP to chat agents.
Common decline reasons
- UPI daily / per-txn limit — bank or UPI app capped the amount; try a smaller top-up or wait for the limit reset.
- Bank block / cool-off — some banks block gaming-category merchants; check SMS from the bank.
- Wrong VPA — mistyped UPI ID; re-enter carefully on the wallet screen.
- Network drop — request timed out; confirm whether money left the bank before retrying.
- State restriction — paid play not offered from AP, Assam, Odisha, Telangana, Nagaland, Sikkim.
- Incomplete KYC — if the app asks for KYC, finish it inside RS9 before another deposit.
What to retry vs what to stop
Retry once after you confirm no double debit on the bank statement, with stable network and a correct VPA. Stop if the app cites a blocked state, if a stranger asks for OTP/remote access, or if the domain is not rs9.software / the official app. For welcome and UPI hygiene see first deposit.
OTP and fake “agents”
Support will not ask you to forward OTP on Telegram or WhatsApp. Do not install screen-share apps because someone promised to “clear the payment.” Email rs9support@email.com with the time of the attempt and the UPI reference — never your OTP.

FAQ
Money left my bank but RS9 wallet is empty
Wait a few minutes, pull to refresh the wallet, then check the UPI reference. If still missing, email rs9support@email.com with the reference — do not pay a second time immediately.
Can I use someone else’s UPI?
No. Use your own VPA and account that matches your RS9 profile where the app requires it.
Payment fails only in my state
If you are in a blocked state listed above, stop. Workarounds violate the rules and are not supported.
Card declined
Try UPI if offered, or a smaller amount. Some issuers block fantasy merchants — that is a bank decision, not something chat agents can override.
